Owner/Head Coach Ryan Giacalone started Florida Elite with his goals set on turning a travel organization into a premier program in the state of Florida. Coach Ryan played locally at Park Vista High School and has grown up and played in one of the most competitive areas in South Florida and understands how to play in this area. Ryan’s career was cut short just before the start of his collegiate career due to multiple ACL injuries. Ryan immediately jumped right into the coaching world being a travel baseball coach and JV Assistant back in 2016/2017. Ryan studied in UCF’s coaching program which is one of the top in the entire country. During his time as UCF Ryan finished among the top students in his program, graduating magna cum laude. Ryan did an internship as a varsity assistant at Hagerty High School.

Following his time at Hagerty, Ryan accepted the challenge of taking on the Head Coaching job at Lake Worth High School. In his first year at Lake Worth he was able to build a culture and get more wins then the school had in the previous 3 seasons. Ryan’s goal, Much like Florida Elite, is to grow Lake Worth High School back into a great baseball program like it used to be. Ryan uses a combination of multiple coaching techniques that help his teams grow/be successful on and off the field.

Ryan is currently an assistant Varsity Coach at Dr. Joaquin Garcia HS and has been a member of the ABCA since 2019.
